For the past several years Bidford On Avon Darby and Joan Club have visited Weston Super Mare twice a year . A group of us have always lunched at the Old Thatched Cottage, which is our favourite eating place because the food and service are excellent, Our last visit was on the 20th September and as  am retiring from the organising committee I would like to express my thanks, and that of my friends, to Steve who has always looked after us so well, and all the staff who on our previous visit were very courteous, helpful and friendly.

With many thanks from our group

The quality of the food and wine was only surpassed by the wonderful courtesy and service shown to us. Excellent.

I just wanted to write and express my appreciation for your hospitality last night. The meal was superb, made even more enjoyable by the friendly and efficient service. This was particularly impressive last night, given the number of diners, 75 in total and the lateness of the hour.

Please pass on my thanks to all those involved.

Dr Paul Phillips OBE

Our first visit but not our last. Lovely evening.

Mr and Mrs Pearce

Thankyou very much for making our evening so special. We celebrated our Diamond Wedding with our family and everyone enjoyed the food and the hospitality.

Many thanks to all the staff.

As always we come to you to eat and drink. Lunch, afternoon and supper, we had it all. So we thought we’d write a little thankyou to all at the Thatch.
